Distinction of Crystal Glassware and Common Glassware

The crystal glassware, also known as the lead crystal glassware, is divided into high lead (36%PBO and 24% PBO), medium lead (18% PBO) and low lead (12-16% PBO) according to the PBO (lead oxide) content. Three Major Differences: 1. Sound: gently knock or finger a vessel, the crystal glassware will make a clear sound and transmit a graceful aftersound in air, but the common glassware will only make a boring “kaka” sound. 2. Handfeel: when gently grasping a crystal high-heel bar cup, you will have a kind of heavy handfeel, but for the common glass, you will only have a kind of light handfeel. 3. Glossiness: when raising a crystal cup up to the light, you will find it’s just like a delicate handicraft which is pure white, glittering and translucent, and can refract charming colorful lights, but the common glassware is low in glossiness and doesn’t refract lights.

General Information on Economical Operation of Daily Use Glass in the First Half of 2010

In the first half of 2010, due to various measures distributed in China, the daily use glass industry shows features of continuous increase, accelerating growth rate and increased economic benefits of enterprises. In terms of the situation of completing main economic indexes, in the first half of 2010, the glass product industry completed the gross industrial output value of 59.772 billion Yuan. The growth rates of the gross industrial output value and the industrial sales value of the glass product industry are a little bit higher than that of the light industry in China, but the industrial product selling rate is 0.48 percent lower than that of the light industry in China. According to customs statistics, in the first half of 2010, the total export import volume of 22 categories of products in the daily use glass industry, we focused on tracking, reached 2.007 billion US dollars, among which, the volume of exports reached 1.8098 billion US dollars, a rise of 31.22 percent on a year-on-year basis, and the volume of imports is 0.109 billion US dollars, a rise of 33.99 percent on a year-on-year basis. The overall economic operation quality of the daily use glass industry is good, and a good trend is kept.
